You should be able to trust your attorney to guide you in the right direction. When you interview attorneys, you should learn who the point person will be on your case - will it be the attorney you interviewed with or someone else? Will there be charges for more than one attorney to work on your case? You should find out the hourly rate of each attorney on the case, the billing procedures, payment obligations moving forward, and options to obtain payment from your estate or partner if that applies.
