“Don’t be afraid of losing people. Be afraid of losing yourself trying to please everyone around you.”

Family disputes are emotionally draining, driven by passion, loss and grief.  If you cannot trust your legal counsel, you will feel even more isolated in a world of confusing concepts and insensitive processes. I have focused my practice in the field of family law my entire career. I find my work rewarding because I believe that I am uniquely qualified to help people through a challenging time in their life. I have been a child of divorce and a part of a family divided by divorce.  I am a working mother.

It is my goal to understand how your emotions play into your needs and expectations.  It is my job to advise and direct you into the right path to achieve your goals, whether that be mediation, collaboration or litigation.  I offer perspective and compassion to my clients specific to what serves them best.

I am a skilled financial litigator with experience regarding complex financial matters, small businesses, and the support and property issues that arise related to those financial nuances. I have experience dealing with complex child-related matters whether as a litigator, mediator, collaborator or guardian ad litem.

I am a strong believer in enlisting the support of additional professionals for my clients, including emotional support from a mental health professional, or financial support from an accountant or financial planning specialist that a client may require.  It is essential that you feel carried and empowered through this process and not just billed and set aside.
